IMPORTANT!  We have gotten a lot of questions about extracurricular, sixth period, tutoring and other supplemental pay issues.  We have been raising these issues in our monthly meetings with the district.  Each pay period, more people have received their supplemental pay, but we are still actively working with the district to make sure everyone gets made whole.   We have not yet filed a formal complaint, because that often slows down the process, and the district have been making steady progress.   Any further action we take we will inform the reps and probably send out a mass email to staff.

Dear Teachers and Instructional Staff,

With the purpose of ensuring aligned systems and supporting reciprocal partnerships, District staff have connected with families about Marking Period 2 Report Cards and Parent/Teacher Conferences through an extension of the Give Me 5 Campaign. We look forward to a strong parent turnout at Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, February 15, 2024. As you know, parental and family involvement are key levers for student success. We thank you for partnering with parents and engaging them in your classroom and school community, as you nurture these important relationships.

Have a great week of teaching and learning!

Sincerely,
Superintendent León
