We have confirmed dates and location for our upcoming regional membership meetings:
This week, the House of Representatives will take up the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. The Senate is scheduled to follow suit as soon the House is finished. The reauthorized law, called the Every Student Succeeds Act:

NTU's grievance procedure is our major weapon to ensure that all aspects of our contract are enforced. In this endeavor, your first line of defense in effective contract enforcement is your NTU Building representative. The NTU building representative does not have to witness the event or actions that form the basis for the filing of the grievance.
1) Lafayette Street School - The NTU has followed through in suing the administrative staff at Lafayette School personally. NPS administrators can not be allowed to use Teach NJ and Achieve NJ as weapons to destroy the careers of hard-working decent professionals.
2) December Membership Meetings – We are working on scheduling regional membership meetings before the Winter Break. More information to come as soon as the dates and locations are finalized.
