NTU COPE FAQ's

Our strength at the ballot box as a united union is critical as we strive to improve the jobs and lives of our members while upgrading the quality of services they provide. And even more importantly, the people we elect at the local, state and national levels have a direct impact on your paycheck, your pension, and the resources available for you to do your job right. Why wouldn't we get involved?

IMPORTANT LEGISLATIVE ACTION!!

Brothers and Sisters:

Please call or email your legislators ASAP and throw your support behind Senate & Assembly bills S2372 & A3929 that establishes State School Aid Funding Fairness Commission.   These bills would increase funding for Newark by $90M.  Help us avoid future layoffs that will occur under Christie’s $6,900 per pupil state aid proposal.  Find your legislator here  http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/members/legsearch.asp  and help us thwart the Governors ill-fated proposal.

In Solidarity,
