There is a saying that states "A picture is worth a thousand words" that is certainly the case of us participating in the teacher Lounge Contest. Salome Ureña Elementary school's teacher lounge, is in a very URGENT need of renovation or even more so makeover. Our building was built in 1929 and looks like the teacher lounge hasn't been renovated since that time too. As you can see in the pictures and video attached, there is nothing really working there, but a table in the middle and a dinosaur microwave on the corner. With a $500. prize we can buy a good table and chairs. Also, we can decorate it like the nice picture provided by the union as an example. We are really hoping you consider our teacher lounge for this contest.
