A Message from Dr. Reilly

Dear Teachers and Instructional Staff,

During the week of June 6th, please distribute and introduce this year’s summer reading books and activities. Summer can be a vulnerable time for student learning. The summer reading projects can help students maintain reading performance.  Also, we want students to experience the many joys that come with being lifelong readers and learners.

Your role in promoting reading is critical. Be creative. Be excited. Be supportive.

In addition, take time to teach students how to sign in and explore additional book titles on MyOn (digital library) and Learning Ally (audio books), which are applications accessible through Clever. The more students read, the better they read. If you have any questions regarding the two platforms, contact  Tim Nellegar (tnellegar@nps.k12.nj.us). The ELA office hours are listed below.

We hope you and your students enjoy these beautiful books!

Dr. Reilly
