“Since graduating from Marymount Manhattan College with my bachelor's in communications and a minor in writing, I've served as a correspondent for Gannett NJ, where I've written feature stories on beats ranging from education to the arts and local government. I've also contributed to numerous local and national publications, including Yes! Magazine, SELF Magazine, and The New York Times. Additionally, I work in communications consulting, with the Northeast NJ chapter of the small business mentoring nonprofit SCORE among my longtime clients. Over the years, I've raised awareness for hundreds of organizations, small businesses, events, and causes. This ultimately helps increase community participation and in turn enriches people's lives, which I find deeply rewarding.
I'm forever grateful to be a NTU Education Foundation scholarship recipient, both for the financial assistance it provided in pursuing my education as well as for the support and confidence in my intellectual pursuits that it represented.”
