In less than a month, we will have the opportunity to put New Jersey back on the right track. On November 7th, we can either elect a governor who will continue the failed policies of the Christie administration or elect a real champion for working people. Our union has endorsed Phil Murphy for Governor and Sheila Oliver for Lieutenant Governor because we know they will fight for us.
NTU LGBTQ COMMITTEE/NETWORK - School districts nationwide are facing increased concerns over giving voice, protection, and resources to their LGBTQ students, and staff. Recent events in Newark serve to highlight that concern, here, as well. The Newark Teacher’s Union has taken notice.
Without an NTU Building Rep in YOUR school you lose a valuable voice that will advocate for you, defend your contract, and keep you informed in your building.
An NTU Rep will help assure YOU and your contract are defended each and every day.
Learn how you can help be a part of securing your and your co-workers' voices!
Are you being observed or PD'd to death? Who's the teacher on your schools School Improvement Panel? Don't know, ask.

2019-2020 Pay dates: As per NPS, these are the pay dates for the 2019-2010 school year. Unless indicated, all pay checks are for ten (10) days.
Remember that all full-time staff are paid to the day, not a week behind. The “pay period” on top of staff’s check often creates confusion about that.
