President Trump just launched a heartless assault on young immigrants and on our communities.
 
By announcing his plan to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, he’s upending the lives—and the dreams—of more than 850,000 young people. And for what? To stoke resentment and fear?

The Newark Teachers Union works closely with NJ Citizen Action on a variety of issues.  They are currently doing a Student Debt Survey.  We recommend filling it out.

On Monday, August 28, 2017 Camden St Staff Members and Special Assistant Zachary King, (Glover Network) made themselves available to our neighboring families in the community. We were able to meet and greet staff members from the Harmony House which houses some of our students from the school.

2019-2020 Pay dates: As per NPS, these are the pay dates for the 2019-2010 school year. Unless indicated, all pay checks are for ten (10) days.

Remember that all full-time staff are paid to the day, not a week behind. The “pay period” on top of staff’s check often creates confusion about that.
